Nqshat: an Arabic-first platform for designing custom products
Nqshat is an Arabic-first web platform for designing custom products: pick a product, design on it in an editor built for Arabic, preview it on a real photo, and export 300 DPI print files with a print plan in centimetres.
Our story
From the first idea to a product you can see and touch.
Nqshat started from a simple idea: why should designing your own products be hard and demand design skills?
We know many people have lovely ideas for T-shirts and merch they'd love to see in real life, but they don't know where to begin, or they find professional design software and preparing print files difficult.
That's where Nqshat comes in, to close the distance between the idea and the product. We built a space that lets you design your products yourself, see how they'll look before production, and prepare your files for print, even if this is your first time in design.
We believe everyone has an idea worth trying, and that starting shouldn't be complicated. So we want Nqshat to be where your merch journey begins, from the first idea to a product you can see and touch.
How Nqshat works
Four steps from picking a product to the print file.
- 1
Pick a product
From a library of ready-made products, each with real print areas measured in centimetres on every side.
- 2
Design in Arabic or English
An editor with text, shapes, images, a pen tool and layers. It runs right-to-left for Arabic, and works on phones too.
- 3
Preview on a real photo
Your design is drawn on the real product photo with its colour, material and folds, so you see the result before printing.
- 4
Export print files
An image for every side, every element as a transparent 300 DPI PNG, and a PDF print plan giving each element's size and position.
What you get when you export
One package you can take to any print shop.
- A realistic preview image of every side of the product, ready to post.
- Every element of the design as its own transparent PNG at 300 DPI.
- One file with all the elements in place on the print area.
- An English PDF print plan for the print shop: each element's size and position in centimetres, and a map of every side.
Who Nqshat is for
For anyone who wants a product that carries their identity without a design team.
Content creators
Launch products that carry their identity in minutes, and need previews that are ready to post.
Print-on-demand beginners
Try lots of ideas without a designer or professional software.
Online stores
Need consistent designs across many products and colours, organised in folders.
Cafés and restaurants
Cups, coffee bags, takeout bags and team clothing, with one identity and ready-made templates.
What we believe
The principles we judge every feature by.
Arabic first
The editor is built right-to-left, not translated from an English interface.
Simplicity without lack
Few tools that do their job well, instead of a crowded panel that scares beginners.
Production-ready
What you see in the preview is what reaches the print shop, at the same resolution and sizes.
Design that's yours
Your files and designs are yours alone: export them whenever you like and delete them whenever you like.
Where we're heading
What we're working on next.
- We're widening the product library with new categories.
- We're connecting the platform to a network of local print shops so you go from design to order without leaving the page.
- We're opening workspaces for teams and small brands.
